Officers at the Davidson Initiative are individuals that make up the leadership apparatus of the organization. Officers are in charge of setting and implementing tactical and operational goals and are involved in the day-to-day management of the organization. Officers take positions in the executive or advisory committee, are either elected or appointed, and have a term of office. The term of office is usually for an academic year starting in May. Membership is required to hold an officer position. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about giving back and impacting others to join our team. We typically encourage technical operators to put in a minimum of 3 hours weekly and officers, 5 hours weekly. Membership is also required for the two aforementioned service categories. While membership or time input is not required for event facilitators, event facilitators would need to attend event rehearsals or dry runs. Since the Davidson Initiative is based in Pembroke Pines, Florida, we typically are looking to have volunteers from the South Florida Area.

The Davidson Initiative offers Individual Membership benefits to students and professionals who’d like to serve as a technical operator or as an officer on the executive or advisory committee. Individual Membership is free and Corporate Membership is currently unavailable.
